Enrollment

We are delighted that you are considering enrolling your child at Gold Hill Preschool and would like to share a few details with you about our simple enrollment process. Our goal is to take the stress and worry out of selecting, applying for, and enrolling your child in a high-quality preschool program.

Gold Hill Preschool serves six levels of children in our center:

  • Infants: Six weeks to 12 months old
  • Toddler 1's: 1 - 2 years old
  • Toddler 2's: 2 - 3 years old
  • Preschoolers: 3 - 4 years old
  • Pre-K: 4 - 5 years old
  • Kindergarten Readiness Program: Children age 5+ (children who will turn 5 after September 1, 2024)

We would love to have you schedule time to visit with us so that we can meet you and your child. During your visit, we will provide you with additional information about our program, philosophy and curriculum, as well as answer any questions you may have. We are happy to accommodate "second look" tours as well!

Registration

When you decide that Gold Hill Preschool is a good fit for your family and you would like to enroll your child, a short application form and the registration fee will hold your child's place in the program. We have openings for the 2024 - 2025 school year, but space is filling up quickly.

Once the preliminary application is complete, one of our three directors or an administrator will review the enrollment packet with you and schedule your child's first day of school. The enrollment packet will contain a parent handbook, a few forms for parents to complete, and medical documentation that must be completed by your child's pediatrician. These documents should be returned no later than one week prior to your child's first day of school.

We encourage parents to visit our center with their child before their first day to help them become familiar with the building and their teachers. Before your child begins school, one of the directors will also meet with you for a brief orientation to help you prepare for the first day of class.
